To recap our soap discussion--use a soap that is known to be benign to the plants. (I use Concern Insecticidal Soap _now_!) The best comment I saw (don't recall who posted it) was after using the soap spray, since it works by contact only, rinse the plants with water after about 30 min. Minimizes the risk. hth, Riley > -----Original Message----- > From: owner-chile-heads@globalgarden.com > [mailto:owner-chile-heads@globalgarden.com]On Behalf Of > Shantihhh@aol.com > Sent: Thursday, July 27, 2000 11:02 AM > To: chile-heads@globalgarden.com > Subject: Re: [CH] whiteflies > > > > > << I did have a slight setback when I sprayed with dishsoap solution to > eliminate whiteflys. >> > > Ron, > > I just sprayed peppers and the whole garden w/Savers I sure hope I don't > experience the same!!!
