Hi All..Just returned from a week in Alaska. Great trip and interestingly,
with no peppers of any kind in any dish on any menu I saw, big bottles of
Tabasco were on almost every table. In North Pole, AK there is a major gift
shop and they were selling four kinds of hot sauce (at $8 per 5 oz. bottle)
with funky names. A friend gave me one as a gift..."Red Hot Rudolph Hot
Pepper Sauce...there's FIRE in North Pole". It's made from peaches,
pineapple, tomatoes, vinegar, peppers and salt. With peppers next to last
it's probably okay for a moderate CHer such as I. And with fruit before
vinegar...yum, yum. Has anyone seen/tasted these before. I assume these
bottles are only sold in Alaska but the recipe might be standard.
