Hi Rick,
Sorry to hear about your hail damage. The first garden I grew after moving
to WI got nailed by the hail. Afterward we cleaned up the best we could,
staked the plants that looked like they might need a little extra support,
and fed the garden a little Miracle Gro. Alot of stuff came back and the
plants that came back the strongest were the peppers. I still cringe when I
hear a thunderstorm alert. Hope your garden recovers nicely.
And, finally, for you lovers of slugs, those thinking of becoming slug
lovers, or even those hating slugs, here's the Tammy the Slug web page:
http://www.tammyslug.com/

There are some tasty looking canned slug concoctions, recipes, ways to slug
slugs, hug slugs, slug rugs and just great slug stuff in general. The slugs
even have their own song.
Check it out or miss out on the greatest experience slugs have to offer.
