Byron and Chet too: Thanks for the info on my pod drop problem. The whole garden including the tomatoes have been getting Miracle Grow 2x a month since we started. This season's damage is done but this is good advice for next year. Byron...and the others in the NE. I am sorry to hear about your rotten weather! Seems you've gotten all the rain we have missed and more. At least lack of rain is fixed by the garden hose (and a HIGH! water bill). But too much water is just rotten as is the hail others have posted about. We would love to share anything we grow with those who have had bad luck this year! Take care all...Lori in SC SNIP > The very small, immature pods on my poblano are falling off the plant if I > barely bump into the plant! >Lori > Cut feeding high nitrogen fertilizers. > > Here is a web site, on tomatoes, same effect on peppers > except chiles like even less N than tomatoes > > Click on all underlined items > > http://www.kcinter.net/~mule/problems.htm > > NMSU recommends about 1 tsp of N and 1 tsp of P per PLANT PER YEAR. >Lord Byron
