I found this "Hoop House" plan on the net. It requires no emt, it uses sch40 PVC which will bend to the right radius. Check out the URL:

I'm getting ready to build one. It has a detailed photos, an assembly drawing and a shoppinglist to further simplify things and no special tools or skills are required to build it.
