Miss Dewi,

Been trying to find species of hornworm that you have.

Guess they are different on this side of the pond.

Here is a description of tobacco/tobacco hornworm.

I would like at least Sir Gareth to note, is the statement that 1 method of
hornworm control is low nitrogen.

Some folks say that hornworm is the larva of a (Carolina) sphinx, a Tennesee
Hawk or a (clear wing ?) humming bird moth.

The following site, look at sphingidae moths, You will find most larva are
similar, and that there are at least 111 species of sphinx, hawk and humming
bird moths.
