JOY: Seeing the first streaks of red in the garden as the cayennes start =
to turn and bringing handfuls of plump jalapenos in the house every =
evening.

PAIN: Having all the leaves and peppers devoured from an innocent =
Jalapeno by two voracious tomato hornworms.

JOY: Finding another hornworm just getting started on another plant and =
putting an end to his evil plans by sealing his fate in a zip-lock bag =
(pun intended ... and to think my co-workers actually felt pity for the =
fat and sassy worm)

At least the joys outweigh the pain ...
