Hi podders, I had the pleasure of spending the day with Karen Stober the other day, while she was in Sydney. We had a really nice day at the Taronga Park Zoo. She's a lovely lady. She had offered to bring me some of Calvin's powder, and I expected her to bring a tiny little sample bag so I could try it out. She brought a whole shaker of the stuff! And she brought me dome of Rockin' Randy's chipotles and some tomatillo seeds as well! Anyway, I have also had some family visiting from the states this week. I threw a BBQ for them on Wed night (how to cook a meal for 10 people in 3 hours or less....) so I rubbed a yearling rump and mopped it with a Rockin' chipotle beef stock mop and served it with a Calvin's BBQ sauce and my my favourite BBQ potatoes tossed in Tony Flynn's smoked orange hab powder, garlic, thyme and olive oil. There was also salmon, prawns, salads and roast veges (oh, and dessert), but you don't want to hear about those. I'm really lucky having all these Sri Lankan in-laws, because they just raved about the food. So thanks, guys! After last year's dismal harvest, couldn't have done it without you all! Must return the favour when my Autumn comes....
