> Kielbasa is an OK sausage, but it ain't Italian, Spanish, Portuguese, or > even a German Brat or other. Sounds like you've only had supermarket kielbasa or such. Too bad. Good kielbasa is very very good and not inferior to any other sausage I would say. Here in San Jose, CA, we are lucky to have a Polish deli cum sausage factory that makes incredible kielbasa (of at least three kinds, not to mention the at least 20 other kinds of Polish sausage they make on the premises). Luckily, we also have numerous manufacturers of linquisa (nearly all of which are very good, and some are absolutely fantastic; and a few of the manufacturers also make Portuguese chourico). Now that I think of it, we also have one manufacturer of wonderful Spanish chorizo, too. Now, if only we could get a decent Indian restaurant :-( And someplace selling fresh ripe Aji amarillo. --- Brent
