Hello all. Just rejoined the list. Was a member for a while when I was living in Japan. Have now moved to DC and when I had problems with my peppers I knew just where to come. Planted Habeneros, Jalapenos, Cayennes, and Banana Peppers. The Habeneros were late in getting started so haven't tried them yet. The Cayennes came out great and were so productive that the plants had to be tied up. My banana peppers and Jalapenos have been extremely productive....However. The flavor has been off. Both have had a very grassy taste and the Jalapenos have failed to develop any heat. The banana peppers were better once I started leaving them until they turned red and got sweeter but still taste a little grassy. Anybody got any suggestions on what I should do to try and improve them for next year? Thanks Charles Weddle
