All: Thought I'd forward some info on a great gardening and farming festival. I attended last year's, and picked up more info in three days than I had in the whole year! The presentations were great; the company was even better. * Join John Trudell, legendary Native American songwriter and philosopher, at the Fifth Annual Gardening for the Future Festival, September 29 - October 1, 2000 at Claymont Farm, near Charles Town, WV. Claymont Farm is just 90 miles from Washington, D.C. and only 40 minutes from Dulles Airport. The Gardening for the Future Festival is designed for anyone who desires a healthier way of life, including those interested in organic and biodynamic styles of growing and those interested in issues related to nutrition and the food chain. The Festival is a fundraiser for the Claymont Farm Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) Project. The Claymont CSA provides organic/biodynamic food to West Virginia families under a subscription service where recipients become real partners in the farm operation. The CSA also provides a training program for college-age interns. Trudell will give a presentation entitled, “The Nature of Power” on human and environmental rights at 7:00 p.m., Saturday, September 30, and will hold a poetry reading earlier that day, at 3:00 p.m. For more information, contact Allan Balliett at (304) 724-6763, email csa@claymont.org, or log-on to www.gardeningforthefuture.com. -- Robert Farr (540) 668-7160 Check out http://www.chileman.com for ALL Natural Hot Sauce!
