I've posted before regarding little spiders that patrol my garden, and they seem to have taken up residence in the wrinkles of my habs. Some use their silk to roll a leaf into a tube, but lots of others just use the wrinkles as "mountain peaks", stretch their silk from peak to peak, and nestle into the valleys. The habs have been larger and more wrinkled than usual this year. They are good little predators and don't damage the pods, so I shoo them off the fruit and back into the garden when I harvest. I just hope they don't take offense at my demolition of all their hard home-building work. The only habs they don't do this on are the non-wrinkly non-white "white" habs. The top shaped ones are ripening to orange, have decent heat and not much hab aroma when cut, but have, IMO, a very pronounced citrus aspect to the flavor. I kinda like them. Will have to try a citrus based sauce. Scott... dehydrator running full of Aji Amarillos... KCK
