Gawds, yes, in my meat-eating days I ate them every chance I got.
They're delicious, and if they're not overcooked, they're
buttery-tender.

Slugs, though? I think I'd have to be starving. I know, that's not
rational; they're just nekkid escargot, and they're probably full of my
tomatoes. But....eww. No one who's ever stepped on one barefoot in the
dark wants to eat one.

And as for an 800+KSU pepper...no thanks, there are limits. I want my
food to burn *pleasantly*. :)
