>Can anybody give me some info on the following peppers: Antohi Romanian and Filius Blue? Preferably size of plants and pods and the >country of origin of Filius Blue. Thanks! Hey Miss Dewi, Antohi Romanian is a Romanian heirloom, brought to the USA by a Romanian acrobat named Ian Antohi. These are larger, thick walled fruits, 4" by 2" wide or so, produced on lower branching plants, like many of the Hungarian types. Filius Blue has small 1" round fruits which grow in abundance on compact plants, great for containers. It is probably a cultivar ("cultivated variety") from the USA, so many new ornamental varieties are being created these days, and produced for the pot plant industry. Just a guess on that tho... Speaking of ornamentals, I'm trying to find the name of the ornamental chile that looks like Fiesta / Fips / Medusa, but has pods that start as PURPLE, then continue on to buff, yellow, orange, and red. Anyone have one? The Bowers Chile Fest was a great place to be this past Saturday. 'Twas nice meeting, and * finally* meeting, and revisiting friends, and chattin' chiles. Thanks to all of you who stopped in just to say hi! We'll look forward to seeing you there next year!!!! janie *Cross Country Nurseries *PO Box 170; 199 Kingwood-Locktown Road *Rosemont, New Jersey 08556-0170 www.chileplants.com View our Chile Photos! *Growers of chile peppers and perennials
