I got a lot of purira peppers from the fields this year, and I made a red 
sauce from them.  I shred them in a food processor first, then simmer them 
for a while - OUTSIDE - run them through the processor again and then run it 
through a sieve.  I can use the back of the ladle to force the mash through 
the mesh; I get a sauce that can go through a squirt bottle, and a seedy, 
pulpy byproduct.
