Pod-lovers, OK, read into this query my desire to merely get my hands on another stash of Chimayo chile powder (authentic I hope) the easy way--using money. What happens if you try to grow Chimayo chiles in SW Ohio from seed? Would you get that distinctive taste, and eventually (with a lot of luck) produce a powder nearly identical to the real, landrace Chimayo good stuff? Please say no. Next question: Where can we replenish our supply, especially if local giant Jungle Jim's that supposedly has everything doesn't sell it?
