Dear Chile gods forgive us all, for (except for Lord Byron) we know not what we do. I've done my best to not keep the TMV thread going. Byron and I and many others make our own insecticides using tobacco (in very small amounts) and soap, and (sometimes) the bodies of bugs with water or tea whirled into a hideous stew. Some OGs do the same. We use Coca Cola as a wetting and gluing agent. We have been known to put dishwasher detergent into our spreaders with lawn food. In countries where they don't have lawns, they probably don't do that. I admit that I may have added some ticks to my stews without checking for Lyme disease. But, I have never, and I really mean never, had any sign of TMV on any plant in nearly 40 years of "growing my own." I just think that the alarmist stuff is overblown. Nice to see you writing again though. Gareth the ChileKnight botch-u-lee, botch-u-la, etc. PS Don't all other countries try to use Virginia tobacco?
