Greetings All, I hope the new year finds each of you happy, inspired and spicy! We've started the New Year out with a bang (we've won a golden chile pepper from Chile Pepper Magazine) but to go to the next level I need the help from one Chile-Head who resides in NYC! It seems as if there is going to be in yet another contest in NYC for the first place winners of the Chile Pepper Fiery Foods Challenge, sponsored by Johnson and Johnson and Pepcid AC. The category in which we won and will be entered in is the: Marinade Category (we tied with Ralph's Gourmet Sauce...yeah Ralph!); which also means that we must get a cooked item to NYC on the 16th (and we want it to taste good : >) and we live in So. CA. Please contact me if you would like to: Prepare the dish for us (of course, we would pay for ingredients and your time). Bring it to the contest Attend the HOT party on the night of the 15th (with Chile Pepper Magazine and a lot of the winners of the contest!) If I have to, I will fly into NY, but the problem lies in preparing something and having it taste good after being transported from the West Coast. We tried this before with the Texas Fiery Shoot-Out, without the boring details, it didn't work!
