I forgot about Embasa. Very good. Better than San Marcos, but not as good as La Morena. I get them mixed up, there's quite a few. All I can remember is La Morena's my fav and Herdez is my least fav. I forgot to say it's also vinegar-y. Ick. Chris, $2.20 for the 13.8's about what I pay: $1.39 for 7 oz., which is what I get as it's just me eating them. I go down to the Hispanic area in St. Paul and get like 10 cans at a time, and about 6 lbs. o'the chorizo... And then make a batch of chile (note the "e" vs. an "i"!) cheeze dip! Have you tried the Home Made Style Chilpotle Sauce by La Morena? Good stuff. green -----Original Message----- From: owner-chile-heads@globalgarden.com [mailto:owner-chile-heads@globalgarden.com]On Behalf Of Chris Meredith Sent: Saturday, January 06, 2001 12:39 AM To: green; Luke Speer; Chile Heads Subject: RE: [CH] Chipotle in Adobo I used to get exclusively the Embasa until a local Latin store here in Beaverton, Or started caring La Morena .....$2.20 for a 13.8 oz can ........
