Hi Pods! Congratulations to Risa for winning the Pepper Joe recipe contest. I'm preparing to start sowing now. Lots of new different peppers to try this year. I can hardly wait! BTW the funnest part of eating hot and/or beans to us are the weird and wonderful noises that come with it. But I guess we're just crazy like that. The slurping, hmmmmm. Whenever I go to Amsterdam we eat at the Zeedijk. It's a part where a lot of Asian stores are. Whenever we eat there you can hear the elders slurping and burping away. Never did try it myself. Maybe next time we'll do the same. I'll let you know what their reaction was and ours ofcourse. I also bought some new books with wonderful recipes for hot & spicy dishes. But in both the intros it is stated that the Madame Jeanette is also known as Habanero. Ouch! If only they'd know.....I thought I read somewhere that the Spanish word for bell pepper is Habanera. Is this true? Well, that's all for now. Ya'll take care and lots of luck this year with the peppers. Miss Dewi ALL FOR CHILES AND CHILES FOR ALL
