Well today after much thinking I finally placed the order for and by Wed
will be the proud owner of a 5.5 HP TroyBilt tiller.  Thanks to those
who emailed me with suggestions on what to do.

And now, another question.  I remember last year there was a lot of
discussion about the best type of soil-less mix to use for seed
starting.  I don't remember what the general consensus was. What is the
best type to use?
