In BC I have had great success using 20 litre plastic pails with handles(originally had dill pickles from a restaurant). The handles make it easy for this old guy to move em around, sorta like follow the sun, on my roof, up 120 ft. I put about 6 inches of stones in the bottom, then GOOD planting soil, sterilized, although the rocks aint! and than just plant my peppers.....4 plants to a pail, works like a charm, had Habs and Thais in those pails for three years, but this year, I will dump em and start anew.....Wots 20 L you ask???? Look it up, those with Sherlock, should be easy, those without try Google!
