I am not a grower-type (yet!), but, I did inadvertently buy a jar of 
"Tamed Jalapenos: brand named Mezzzetta (it was a mistake! Honest!  I
didn't know that it was loaded!).  After avoiding the jarin my fridge
for a year, I decided to rehabilitate them by simmering them in the
brine of some REAL pickled jalapenos, and I have recovered nicely.

Anyway, that is the only mild form I have seen, but alas, they were
wasted on me.
