To all you Southern Belles and Gentleman on the list: Due to a very unfortunate crash, I have lost the names and addy's of those of you who had already expressed interest in the 1st Annual Southeast Hotluck. Date yet to be determined, June or July is looking promising, let me know your preferences and I'll try to accomodate as many as possible. Place looks like my home in Statesville, NC, in no way central but easily accessible by major freeways. I had responses from TN, SC, GA, and AL, and a vendor in PA who offered samples. 'Twill most likely be an all-day Saturday affair, will gladly arrange local accomodations for those wanting to spend the weekend. Non-southerners will be welcomed with open arms too. The boy and I have got it bad. Lungs on fire and filled with molten lead, throat sore from coughing, and sinuses clogged with toxic sludge. Yuck! subject #3, tabasco I have always thought the stuff smelled like the liquid that accumulates at the bottom of the garbage can. However, if that's all you know, then we're here to help! I myself was glad they didn't advertise the CH list, selfish maybe, but true. I must admit a certain fondness for Frank's REDHOT, no affiliation. Personal hotsauce collection is at an infantile stage as the last one was sadly lost in divorce settlement. Sriracha, Franks, and pepper vinegar are here, as is the wasabi in a tube(can't get enough of that wonderful stuff!)Horseradish in a jar grated fine and unadulterated, and some Chinese hot pepper oil hijacked from the local fave joint.
