[CH] What's in a name?

One source, i.e. The Mexican Gourmet, María Dolores Torres Yzábal and
Shelton Wiseman describes the Ancho and the Mulato as the dried version of
the Poblano.  Yet I bought some Ancho seeds from a commercial seed dealer.
Does this mean I don't have to worry about drying them because they will
already grow to a dried shrivel?
