There was a movie about WWII, probably produced then that had a scene where a group of folks were trying to escape from the Germans. If memory serves, the group was being escorted across the German boarder (lines) by partisans. At one point, one of the partisans sprinkled chile powder on the ground to throw off the dogs that were being used in the pursuit. So! Name that WWII war movie, the type and brand of chile powder used, and whether it would work in real life with real dogs--it did in the movie.
