It wasn't their habanero flavored chips that had an "off" taste, 
it was their non-flavored "Original" chips.  I did eat 'em though.  
After dusting 'em generously with Via Nueva Pico de Gallo Mexican 
seasoning, the off taste was gone...or at least well masked.
