Just prove that chiles will grow and produce normal pods in a soil pH of 4.5
and 8.5.
I doubt that you could even get chiles plants to survive in those
conditions.
Each plant has a seperate set of growing requirements. Cranberries won't
grow on dry ground and chiles won't grow in bogs.

Which plant was the chart written for? How do some plants flourish in
bogs at a pH of 4.0?
