I've been using drip irrigation on chiles, other veggies, berries, fruit trees and in the vineyard for several years. I flat love it. It's reliable, water efficient and easy to install and maintain. For chiles, I run a drip line down the row of plants with a 1 gal./hr. dripper at each plant. All of our drip stuff has come from http://www.dripirrigation.com/ and they've been a good oufit to deal with.
