<< Any of you have any experience with drip irrigation? Pros and cons? > -- > --- > Regards, Cameron. >> We have been using a timed drip system for years and simply think it is the most effective and efficient mode of watering. My husband installed it several years ago. It also helps eliminate weeds by directing the water to each plant. We have soaker drips on potatoes and beans, others are individual drips to each plant. We also have drip systems throughout our yard including on each of the 70+ rose buses, 18 lavenders plus other herbs, not to mention all the numerous large hanging basket/gardens. In the hanging baskets and tiered planters we have a circle soaker and or spray. I do hope this is some minute assistance. I have nothing much negative accept the gardener's weed-whacker has taken out a few tubes as does freezing weather. One must do a maintenance update each Spring.
