Oh my, Cameron!!! One tends to forget, that the LARGER portion of North America, is covered by Canada, where we spell the same way as the Ozzies' and Kiwis' and the English, Irish, Welsh, and even the Scots! So.....we spell favourite, humour, colour, etc., all the same way! And we talk funny, as well.....particularly in our pronunciation of out and about! That created no end of humour when I first moved to California, and was introduced to my first chile and ate my first chilli, and because their floor furnaces were inadequate, was very often chilly. BTW have you lost your burr? Cheers, Doug in BC a very large chunk of land, to the north of Washington State!
