This year I started and feed my seedlings differently.

I used 1 tbsp of cow tea in a gal of water to presoak my seed starting
soil,  and after the seedlings got the 5th true leaf set I fed them again
with the cow tea.

I now have a couple Ring of Fire chiles in pots about 24 in tall.

The big note is that I have killed 1 and only 1 aphid.  I have not used
any sprays at all.  My plants are aphid and whitefly free..
