Hi Podheads! I am so excited! My mom went to the Pasar Malam, which is an Indonesian market, and she bought me a chile pepper calendar! It contains pictures taken by a man named Wolfgang Kaehler and is published by Browntrout Publishers. The pictures are taken at markets all across the globe. Waterloo Market in Ontario, Canada and also San Fransisco Farmers' Market. So I guess some CH's have visited those places. The pictures are ofcourse from chiles in powder form and in sauces. That sauce picture is funny 'cause they sell it in Brazil in old soda bottles made from plastic. You can see the chiles floating at the top. Small ones so I figure they're hot. The only bummer is that it doesn't say what kind of peppers they are but I can guess a few. The picture from Peru are Rocotos, I think. I should scan in a picture and put it on my site. It has a picture taken in Egypt and the chiles are dried. No clue what they are but I'll let everyone see what they look like when my site is updated which should be very soon. Well, that's all for now. Plants are fine, growing big and strong. Miss Dewi
