Went out to my garden to see how my plants where doing and looks like I have been attacked. Plants where fine this morning but something decapitated a few of my pepper plants since then. What got hit was 2 plants, not very tall and with fairly thin stems. Both cut off well above the soil line during the day. I thinking it's my neighbors cat that did it. At the moment it looks like just 2 where hit. Both plants were Jamaican Red Scotch Bonnets. One was 6 inches tall and just ready to take off. The other I planted a day or so ago and it was small. Didn't see any plant parts on the ground. The plants were cut at a angle just like some of my plants that my "indoor cat" ate a while back. The darn furball might have gotten a serrano as well I just can't tell cause it is so small. Now don't cry too hard for me my fellow pepper heads, I have plenty of powder and already have 4 jalapeno plants around 2 feet tall. Also I have 20 or more Jamaican Red's at my disposal thanks to a local nursery just giving them too me. Looks like I am going to go to war with this cat. First plan of attack is to let my dog out whenever the cat gets in my back yard. Then I might have to go to a toy store to get some water guns and make some pepper spray to shoot the furball with. And it looks nightly recon missions with a little garden border liquid waste disposal is in order as well. So any pod heads out there got any tips to help me do battle with the cats?
