    as long as everyone is mid-rant about everything but CHILES ...
i'd like to suggest that we stop using the informal/slang term ...
" peter out " .
    as far as i'm concerned , the word/verb "peter" should Always be
used in conjunction with the word "in".
[(in) prep., adv., adj., n. - "In" expresses inclusion, situation, presence,
existence, position, and action within limits of space, time, state,
circumstances etc. (etc.)] quote from the Gage Canadian dictionary.
    like peter peppers , petering IN the garden ... that sorta thing.
