Gadzoooks! Never fear, Luke. Rain is mostly a vegetarian, and she
certainly wouldn't eat Long Pig, as the cannibals used to call their
sometime feasts.....having said that, however, IMHO there are, in this
world today, far too many stray cats and dogs alive, and folk are not
wanting to humanely kill them, so are building larger and larger pounds
in which to "store" them. The pet food industry is immense, while on the
other hand, children all over the world, including America, north and
south, are starving, and other folk(or perhaps the same ones)are urging
all and sundry to drop in on a web site once a day to donate food! I
know some people with 4 dogs! " They are our family!" Sheesh! Time
