> How many of us that are in the United States of North America actually > waited till they were 21 to drink? When I turned 18, it was still 18 (CT, 1977). Of course, we had fake ID at 16. In most of europe, age relates only to buying, not drinking. If parents want to give their kids something, they can, unlike in the US, where the parents would be arrested as well. To put some chile into the topic, I brought some of my homemade 'Eau de Vie de Habanero' to Norway a couple months ago. It's made by cramming as many habs as possible into a bottle, filling with grain alcohol, and letting it steep. Problem is, Norway considers anything over 60% to be in the same class as heroin and such. Thus, I was advised that, if asked, I should claim it as perfume, as that is exempt from the 60% rule. Tom
