Hi Yvonne, Japone' chiles are some of my favorites. I use them extensively when I make chile oil. They impart a wonderful taste, heat and color to the oil. Oddly enough, I don't think that I have ever seen them fresh. Curious. That's all I know. Not much, but oh well. B-) If you are interested I would send you the 'recipe' for making chile oil. Just let me know. George J. They sort of look like a dried cayenne, small, red, about 1 1/2 to 2 inches in length. I have never heard of this chilie before. Does anyone have any information on this chilie they can share with me. Yvonne in sunny Georgia
