-=> Quoting Doug Irvine to All <=- DI> Yeah, but Jim....it is SO cold up there in the land of the midnight DI> sun, that the poor little kid needs to eat them to keep warm! At DI> least with 24 hours of daylight, the peppers will mature that much DI> sooner.....Cheers, Doug in BC who has only been as far north past 54! I don't quite get 24 hours of sunlight. I'm at 62 deg 30 min N. On the summer solstice we got 22 hours of true sunlight, 2 hours of twilight. I just survived other "Raven Mad Days"..... 24 hours of pub crawling, street food, partying, dancing and a night-long marathon golf tournie. Young Neekha got to stay up to midnight. The last time she did that was New Years Eve. She thought that was pretty cool; she's not only a chile head, she's a night owl.... and a chow-hound. Her latest pepper adventure.... grilled squid with Lol Tun habanero sauce. She helped me gut the squid and loved eating the tentacles ("jes' like big spiders".) YK Jim
