I fried the first few wedges with the hab still in the oil, but the hab browned quickly so I removed it before I fried more wedges. I liked the chips I got; at first, they tasted completely ordinary. But after about half a minute I could detect a rising heat, and after two minutes I had a comfortable hab glow. I think I'll do this again, maybe making taco shells from tortillas.
