I bought an ornamental pepper plant at Wally World this spring and it has been producing peppers pretty well. The tag that came with the plant labeled it only as "Pimenta". The plant is only 7 inches high and is producing small peppers about 2 inches long and about 1 inch in diameter at the base. What I was want to know is if it is safe to eat the peppers? I don't know of any peppers that are dagerous to eat, but then again knowing my luck I would buy the one that is dangerous. Thanks, Michael Pepper Observation: US Troops had Tobasco Sauce in their MREs. Iraqi Troops had no hot sauce. Any doubts why we won? ;^)
