I'm prolly the last person on this earth to find this out, but in case I'm not I'd like to share with you guys. The recipe's supposed to be mixed *greens* (like rocket, mesculen, stuff like that - no bib or iceberg or "ordinary" stuff) with an oil/vinegar dressing. Some sliced strawberries and blue cheese/Roquefort (AOC) sprinckled liberally on top. My eyebrows went up at "strawberries/Roquefort" and I just couldn't imagine the two together. Sounded way too weird, and I'm prolly more a cheese-head than I am a chile-head. So, thought I'd give it a try - at least once - and didn't feel like messing with the entire salad (I've enuff on my plate with getting ready for tomorrow - there's one for you, Scott Parkhurst! LOL!!!). So having some blue cheese in the 'frig and getting some strawberries for garnish on the ribs... I gave the strawberry/blue cheese combo a try... AND WENT TO HEAVEN! Very sublime, sensual, exciting while at the same time warm and comforting. I've now got to buy more strawberries for garnish on the ribs. I've been taking strawberries, pulling off their little *green* hats, plumping open a titch, stuffing with a bit o'blue cheese and popping into my mouth all night! I never would have thought the combo would be so good. Not hot, 'Heads, but... Oh! You MUST try it! The words I want to use I can't type here... Suffice it to say, it's sensual!!! green, CH #2156
