I know this is off topic but will probably interest our members in the Philadelphia area. Tonight on Comcast Sportsnet, between 10 and 11PM, I will be on a segment called "I Beat Pete". Pete Christy, one of their sportscasters, has an event where people challenge him to their favorite sport. I would love to say this was a chile eating contest but some of you already knoe that I make boomerangs. Pete actually called me and asked to do the challenge. He traveled to Allentown two weeks ago, I taught him to throw and catch and we did a challenge in two events. I won both and get to say on camera "I Beat Pete". Some of you in the area may want to watch a overweight, 50 year old guy with bad knees, beat a younger more agile guy. Pete has 15 wins and 14 losses this year so winning was a big deal. He went on to beat a guy in the Viking game Kubb, right after our challenge and onnly need 8 minutes to do it. To make this a little more chile related: My wife and I are having a 50-50 Bday party (we both turn 50) and decided to uses hot sauce for party favors. We bought some hot sauce, stripped off the labels and applied our own. My wife's says: "Barb's 50th Birthday Hot Flashes Hot Sauce, It's not just me, It is hot in here!". Our friends who really know us will get a kick out of it. Dave Hendricks
