[CH] More plants from cuttings?

Hi all,

Has anyone tried to propagate specific chile plants from cuttings?  My New 
Mex Joe parkers are especially wonderful but I dont have as many plants as I 
would like.  Who knew?  I dont have time to grow more from seed this year,  
but I think cuttings might give me enough of a head-start to get some 
additional fruit before this season ends (coastal s.calif).

I have grown tomatoes (and lots of ornamentals) from cuttings with moderate 
success,  and wondered if anyone has done this with chiles?  If so,  any 
pointers?
