LOL I know two people who have lost everything on their hard drives. DO NOT open these attachments. There is a new virus that is spreading like a wildfire. This mass-mailing virus attempts to send itself and local documents to all users found in the Windows Address Book and email addresses found in temporary Internet cached files (web browser cache). This is a very bad virus, here is one example of what it can/will do if you do not clean it off your system: On 16 October there is a 1 in 20 chance that the worm will attempt to delete all files from the hard drive. Here is an example of what an email with this virus looks like and there is an attachment (DO NOT OPEN IT). The subject can be anything, but this is usually in the body of the message. _________________________________________________ Hi! How are you? I send you this file in order to have your advice See you later. Thanks _________________________________________________ I am getting sent about 20 of these viruses a day and about 5 of the "haha" viruses. That tells me that many of the list members are possibly infected. It amazes me with todays protection how many infected computers there are. Here is a link to more information on the virus at mcafee.com. please check your PC!! Always use protection! What's even worse is that SOMEONE would open an attachment they do not what it is. http://vil.mcafee.com/dispVirus.asp?virus_k=99141& Dave Toussaint
