Hi Doug!  Just noticed that you always give this dimension!  It's a good
idea (average Brit onions being smaller, for instance, than New World ones)
but do you ever try out onions from other sports?  Cricket or rounders, for
instance?  Shallots for table tennis? ;-)  Nice recipe, incidentally.
