It can be difficult, especially in dense bushes. My technique is to 
form a mental image of one of the blighters and slowly scan over my 
plants until something clicks. It requires concentration, but like 
morel hunting is quite easy when you "get your eye in."

So where should we go when we're in Long Beach next week Suz?

And for the benefit of the knuckle dragging Brits on the list, (I was 
thinking of horned worms) we have just had our garden mulched by a 
fellow who revels in the name of Randy Holliday!
