Klaus -- You might consider using the Hot Canned Tomatoes recipe I posted a few days ago -- if you would like to use immediately, simply forgo the canning step. I would brown your meat(s) of choice with some chopped onion, salt and pepper. Pour the sauce into this mixture, simmer a few minutes, finish with fresh herbs and serve. Good luck.
