Not sure if there is a taste difference, tho my wife thinks so.
My wife can also get fresh wasabi shipped to her as some of her family is
still in MY. Might also be able to get some root sent.
As to finding it in stores, I dunno. We are in an unfamiliar area, and would
have to check around, but give me a little time, and I will find it. :)
I've found just about everything my wife has missed from home.
