It is a traditional drink in Greece.  Yes, anise flavor strong stuff.  Not as 
strong as it's relative Raki--now that IS strong.  That one is popular on 
Crete and in Turkey.

Hey Dewi---now there's the answer dump chiles in your ouzo on that holiday.  
And you must get to at least one island!!!  Mykonos and Santorini are short 
hops from Athens.
